I think it’s good to have a parting from our phones. I still resent the expectation that I am contactable 24/7. I switch my phone to silent at night and usually do not check it much (or at all, if I am feeling rebellious). Also my phone goes flat quickly if I am out for hours without a charger. That’s enforced phone silence!!
